Room Overview
At Community Concern #13 our toddler room supports the tremendous growth that takes place in the period between 13 months and 2 years of age. We provide a flexible environment that supports curiosity, creativity and your toddler’s own unique forms of self-expression. Young toddlers love to explore the world around them. Our teachers provide activities that allow for this exploration and engage the children in stimulating activities.
Enriched Curriculum for Toddlers
Our toddler room provides an enriched curriculum for toddlers. Our teachers develop weekly lesson plans that incorporate a wide variety of developmentally appropriate activities that explore your toddler to literacy, engage your toddler in active learning and balance the day with small and large group activities that expand his/her interests. Outdoor activities in the community allow for further enhancement and exploration. Communication with parents is an integral part of our program. We provide communication daily so that our parents can be involved and engaged in their child’s program.
Parents must bring a complete extra set of clothing and a sheet or blanket to their child’s classroom on the first day your child attends the program. All belongings must be labeled. All sheets/blankets must be taken home every Friday for laundering and returned on Monday.
